Welcome To Boyne Rapids
Golf
Michigan's Shortest 18-Hole Course
IN THE HEART OF MICHIGAN'S
FABLED GOLF COUNTRY
BOYNE RAPIDS GOLF was designed
with two basic purposes in mind: to improve your
short game and to provide a place for the novice to
learn the game.
IMPROVE YOUR GAME!
We know that 85% of a golfer's
handicap is formulated within 85 yards of the pin.
Here is the place for experienced golfers and
beginners alike to practice the short game, the
most important aspect of the golf game.
We have found that many of our guests use BOYNE
RAPIDS GOLF as a warm up for some of the larger
regulation courses nearby. It only takes an hour
and a half to play, the perfect setting before
heading to better-known courses such as Boyne
Mountain, Bay Harbor, Dunmaglas, Tree Tops or
Belvedere, each of which is within a quick half
hour's drive.
DROP YOUR HANDICAP!
At only 701 yards, the beautiful
little course has well-maintained Blue Grass tees
and fairways and Bent Grass greens. This gem has
all the aspects of a regulation course except for
the distances and the expenditure of time and
money. The longest hole is only 95 yards and
shortest two are 12 yards each!
TEACH YOUR BEGINNER!
We have also found that
beginning golfers, younger or more mature, are not
intimidated by the short distances from tees to
greens, like they might be when faced with a
regulation 500 yard, Par-5. Many fewer balls are
lost with the inadvertent hook or slice. This is a
"SUCCESS" experience for all golfers.

MORE FAMILY FUN AT BOYNE RAPIDS
GOLF
In addition to our Par-3 golf
course, we are also pleased to offer our
Adventure
Golf Course, named by
some as the "Prettiest Challenge in the North,"
featuring thousands of natural rocks and boulders,
a unique cave and seven waterfalls.
Along with our baseball and softball batting cages,
they reflect our major purpose, which is to offer
first-rate activities at inexpensive prices, which
whole families can enjoy, regardless of their
ages.
We are conveniently located on the eastern city
limits of Boyne City, within a half hour's drive
from Gaylord, Charlevoix and Petoskey with all
their major golfing attractions.
