Both ski areas are working to make skiing more affordable by rolling back lift ticket prices. Weekend adult tickets went from $43 last year to $39 for this coming season and midweek tickets will be $35. If you have time for a mid-day ski break, a 4 1/2-hour lift ticket from 12:00 noon until 4:30 p.m. is available for only $21 every Sunday through Friday. The Boynes also offer a $5 discount on lift tickets purchased at Boyne Country Sports locations in Bloomfield Hills, Traverse City and Novi.
